The Brahman Foundation has announced its officers and Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 year, with Rachel Cutrer elected to serve as president of the organization.
Joining Cutrer as officers are Shane Bentke of Texas, vice president, and Lanna Hensgens of Lousiana, secretary/treasurer. Benton England, Kaysee Schulte and Stephanie Lambert will continue serving as directors, while Carlitos Guerra joins the board as a newly elected director.
Established in 2015, The Brahman Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the future of the American Brahman breed. The Foundation supports and develops programs involving youth, education, leadership, scholarships, showmanship, carcass merit and breed research.
Since its establishment, the Foundation has worked to provide opportunities that benefit Brahman youth while supporting educational and research initiatives that contribute to the long-term advancement of the breed. Through scholarships, leadership opportunities, educational programs and industry partnerships, the organization seeks to invest in both the people and programs that will shape the future of Brahman cattle in the United States.
“The Brahman Foundation has tremendous momentum, and I am honored to serve alongside a board of people who genuinely care about the future of our breed,” Cutrer said. “Our responsibility is to take the resources entrusted to this organization and turn them into meaningful opportunities, whether through scholarships, education, leadership development, research or programs that help young people build a lifelong connection to the Brahman breed.”
During the 2026–2027 year, the Foundation plans to continue strengthening its existing programs while expanding its outreach to donors, Brahman breeders, families and industry partners. The board will also focus on developing sustainable programs and resources that can continue serving the Brahman community for years to come.
As The Brahman Foundation enters its next year of service, its mission remains centered on investing in youth, advancing education and research, and supporting programs that contribute to a strong and progressive future for the American Brahman breed.
